The three Silvertop Towers, designed by architect Jules De Roover, were built in the early 70’s.
Besides an urban integration of the towers, the project includes a fairly thorough transformation of the buildings, in which the following elements are central:

  • fire safety
  • logical organization of access, bicycle parking and storage facilities, elevators and staircases, basements per tower
  • rearrangement of apartments
  • attention for constructions physics: insulation, ventilation and acoustics
  • overall review of techniques and environmentally friendly combustion installation with combined heat and power
  • architectural reputation
  • urban integration – infrastructural works
